Yawya is a visionary creative whose roots trace through Washington, D.C.'s rich musical soil. Starting at age nine in gospel choirs and later becoming a lead mic in the Go-Go scene, he developed a sound that bridges soul, culture, and spiritual depth. As a bassist and percussionist, Yawya has written and produced music while mentoring artists across genres.

With a B.A. in Historical Studies and a Master of Divinity, his journey spans from managing multimillion-dollar global projects in Africa to producing live events for major brands and Grammy-winning talent. Now the creative director of Internal Perspective Group, Yawya fuses art, identity and sonic experiences that awaken and empower.
